Becker Scholarship; Newt D. Becker CPA Exam Review Course Scholarship Program

As part of the Newt D. Becker Scholarship Program, Becker has given away over $3 million in scholarships to assist future CPAs in getting their licenses.
According to the Becker Scholarship Program, students who regularly exhibit good moral integrity, effective leadership, and a dedication to community service—values held dear by Newt—deserve an edge. Therefore, it is only appropriate that we award scholarships for CPA Exam review courses to those who labor, lead, and serve. 120 eligible candidates will receive CPA Exam review course grants this year from the Newt Becker scholarship program.
The Newt Becker Scholarship allowed me to concentrate on my studies and obtaining my CPA certification rather than worrying about how I would pay for the school. I was able to devote all of my time to studying thanks to the prize because I would have otherwise had to work during my study break.

How do you apply?
2023 Newt Becker Scholarship application began February 6, 2023, and ended March 6, 2023. Check back in January 2024 for details on next year’s scholarship.
What does the Newt Becker Scholarship program cover?
This CPA Exam scholarship is meant to help individuals who merit it, based on need and active volunteerism in the community. 120 CPA candidates will receive the Becker Advantage Package, valued at $2,499 and including 24-month access to Becker’s Exam Day ReadySM tools and resources, as part of the Becker CPA Exam Scholarship. The awards cannot be transferred.

Are you eligible?
To be considered for the CPA review course scholarship, you must:
- Is an accounting professional or student not currently enrolled in Becker’s CPA Exam Review at the time of scholarship notification?
- Meet the requirements to sit for the CPA Exam at the time of enrollment in Becker’s CPA Exam Review.
- Be a US resident.
- Not be currently employed by or have accepted a position at a firm or corporation that reimburses for the CPA Exam Review.
- Enroll in Becker’s CPA Exam Review by June 30, 2023.
CPA Exam Review course scholarships
The CPA journey isn’t an easy one. It requires countless study hours, MCQs, and a complicated application process. On top of these challenges, the CPA Exam is costly. Depending on your state of residence, you may pay nearly $1,000 for exam application and registration fees. There are additional CPA Exam fees to consider, including the cost of a high-quality review course, an ethics exam to fulfill some states’ requirements, licensing fees, and continuing professional education credits to maintain licensure
